About Us

SUNBELT LANDSCAPES & NURSERY (Sunbelt) is a second generation family owned business located in Corrales, New Mexico. Sunbelt was established in 1985 as a commercial tree farm and in 1990 became the only grower of large specimen trees in New Mexico.

Diversity is a way of life for Sunbelt. Many of our employees have seen our scope of services broaden over the 27 years they have been with the company. Owner/ Operator, Brandon Steiner, grew up in the custom home business. When Brandon took over as manager, in 1990, it was obvious that there was a lack of quality control in the residential landscape marketplace.  In 1991, due to constant requests from our tree clients, Sunbelt began expanding into commercial and residential landscape construction.  Sunbelt is experienced in all phases of the design/build process. Due to the fact that all of Sunbelt’s designs are created in-house, utilizing a cost conscious approach, many of our clients’ request that Sunbelt manage their entire project and deliver a turn-key product. In 2000, Brandon bought Sunbelt from his father and has since run the company with the same quality control he instilled in 1990.   Sunbelt thrives to be the best company, delivering the highest quality at a competitive price.

Over the years, Sunbelt has done residential projects ranging from $1,500 to $750,000.  Sunbelt believes that each project, regardless of size, needs to receive the same attention to detail, where the result is a successful project for the client.  Sunbelt has never been complacent about the materials used in a landscape, nor in the methods in which those materials are installed.  Sunbelt takes great pride in the fact that we remain on the cutting edge of technology when it comes to the design and installation of our client’s landscapes.

Sunbelt looks forward to working with you to create that truly unique outdoor environment for you and your family.
